白雪の 降りしく時は みよしのの 山下風に 花ぞ散りける

When white snow,
Is falling and spreading,
All over Miyoshino mountain, now.
It looks as if flowers were scattering,
At the foot of the mountain, wind blowing.

白雪が敷き詰めたように一面に降る時は、吉野山の麓に吹く風に花が散っている。
(Appreciation)
When white snow is falling and spreading all over Miyoshino mountain, it looks as if flowers were scattering at the foot of the mountain, with the wind blowing.
