Enjoying Kokin Waka Shu in English-475 Ki no Tsurayuki-61
世の中は かくこそありけれ 吹く風の 目に見ぬ人も 恋しかりけり
紀 貫之
As is often the case as such,
Life can be lonely.
Though I miss her very much,
I can see her and reach her vainly,
Trying to catch the blowing wind empty.

世の中(男女の関係)というのはこうゆうものだったのだな、吹く風のように、目に見えない人がこんなに恋しいとは。
(Appreciation)
Love is such that I miss her so much that I try to see her as if trying to catch the blowing wind in the air.
