逢ふことは 雲居(ｸﾓｲ)はるかに なる神の 音に聞きつつ 恋ひわたるかな
紀 貫之
Far away,
Is to see her,
Like a cloud in the sky.
All I can do is to love and miss her,
Hearing claps of thunder.

(鑑賞)
あの人に逢うことは空の雲のようにはるか遠くのこと、雷(神の音)を聞きながら恋しているしかないのだ。
(Appreciation)
To see her is far away like a cloud in the sky. All can do is to love and miss her hearing a sound of thunder.
