秋風の 吹きにし日より 音羽山 峰のこずゑも 色つきにけり

As the autumn wind,
Started blowing, indeed,
At Otohayama, the mountain of wings of sound,
The treetop leaves are turning red,
Along with the sound of the wind.

< 石山寺に参詣した時、音羽山の紅葉を見て詠んだ歌 >
秋風の吹きはじめた日から(秋風の音と共に)音羽山の峰の梢も紅葉している
(Appreciation)
Since the beginning of autumn, when Akikaze, autumn wind, started blowing, the treetop leaves at Otohayama, literally the mountain of wings of sound are turning red.
