英訳 新古今和歌集- 1931

涅槃経読み侍(ﾊﾍﾞ)りける時、夢に、「散る花に池の氷も解けぬなり花吹き散らす春の夜の空」と書きて人の見せ侍りければ、夢のうちに返すと覚えける歌

After reading The Great Nirvana Sutra, I saw in a dream a waka ‘In the spring night, flowers are scattering, but not the iced surface of the pond melting.’ I responded; 

谷川の流れし清く澄みぬれば　くまなき月の影も浮かびぬ
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　肥後

Reflected on the mountain stream tranparent and pure,
Is the moonlight shadow perfect and clear.
